Arcadia Trail Park

Arcadia Trail Park, sometimes referred to as Arcadia Park, is the main park in PID 6. The park is a 100-acre area, bounded by Island Park Drive on the north, Basswood Boulevard on the south, Arcadia Trail on the east, and Teal Drive on the west. The park offers approximately 21 picnic tables, 4 shelters, 22 benches, 9 playgrounds, 26 pieces of playground equipment, 2 bike racks, 3 tennis courts, 2 soccer fields, 2 basketball goals, a baseball field, walking trails, hiking and biking routes, and a disc golf course.

The parks are divided into 8 sections, primarily for ease of reference:

Amenties vary among the sections. For example, Arcadia #2 is where large events such as the Movie in the Park, Easter Egg Hunt and Fireworks Extravaganza are held. Arcadia #1 is where the disc golf course is located.

A new park coming online will be along Parkwood Hill Blvd. and will be in operation during Fall 2009 according to the City of Fort Worth Parks Department.

Disc Golf Course

The disc golf course is located in Arcadia #1. Hole #1 is at the Arcadia Court entrance.

Tennis courts open to the public are located in 3 areas of Arcadia Trail Park:
